27 August: Final Concert in the Church of Doel, 20 hrs

On 31 August, the right of habitation in Doel expires and all people who live in rental houses will have to definitively quit their homes.

Koma-ar Educatief vzw, Kunstdoel vzw, Calcant vzw in cooperation with Village Poet Frank De Vos therefore organize a solemn farewell concert on Thursday, 27 August in the baroque church of Doel.

The main program:
Stabat Mater (Pergolesi)

Preliminary program:
Concerto Grosso (Händel)
“Remember Me” (Purcell)
Concerto in A for harpsicord (Bach)
+
Lamentatio for the last mothers and fathers of Doel
(village poet Frank De Vos)

The concert starts at 20 hrs.
Doors: 19:30

Entry tickets at €25 available online via www.onti.be or via phone on 070 22 33 20 (€0,175/min).

We would like the church to be completely filled with people so as to pay a heartfelt tribute to a village that has courageously withstood demolition for more than 40 years.
